Lee, Mrs. F. A. (JUL 1832 - 7 FEB 1895)

Mrs. F. A. Lee died Thursday morning, Feb. 7, 1895, of heart failure. She was 61 years and six months old and had been ailing for the past three years, yet her death came sudden and unexpectedly, surprising many who had no idea she was so feeble.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., in July 1832 and came to Neillsville, Clark County in 1873. She leaves a husband, three daughters and four sons, Mrs. McConnell and Mattie Lee of this city, and Mrs. Kate Payne of Lents, Oregon, Charlie, Bert and Fred of this city, and Allie who lives in the northern part of the state.

She was a good and loving wife, and a member of good standing in the Episcopal Church. The funeral was held Sunday in the Presbyterian Church, which was filled with friends who came to pay their tribute to a kind friend and neighbor.
