Campbell, Hannah Lynch (10 AUG 1837 - 12 JAN 1896)

Hannah Lynch Campbell died at her home in Pleasant Ridge, Clark County, Sunday, Jan. 12, 1895.

She was born in Cork County, Ireland, Aug. 10, 1837, and came to America and settled in Lynnfield, Mass., when but 14 years of age. In April 1854 she married Archibald Campbell and moved to Clark County, settling in Pleasant Ridge in Nov. 1863, where she has since resided. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. She was the mother of J. E. Campbell, deceased, a former district attorney of Clark County, also mother of Mrs. Ed Bruley, who resides south of this city.

The remains were buried from the Catholic Church in this city, Wednesday, and laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Campbell was a firm believer in the Catholic faith and a faithful member of the church. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and more especially by her neighbors with whom she was intimately acquainted in Pleasant Ridge, always having a kind word of cheer and a charitable heart for those in distress.
