Sebesta, Robert (9 JUN 1918 - 14 JUN 2002)


NEILLSVILLE - Robert Sebesta, 84, of Neillsville, Clark County, died June 14, 2002, at the Memorial Medical Center Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Gesche Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born June 9, 1918, to John and Stella (Kott) Sebesta in Levis Township. He was united in marriage to Elaine Davis in 1948. He farmed and worked for approximately 17 years for the Clark County Highway Department, retiring in 1972. He was Chairman of Washburn Township for eight years and also worked with his sons on their farms.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Sebesta three sons, Robert, Jerald (Rick) and Randy, all of Neillsville daughter, Rolaine Griffiths of Rochester, N.Y. eight grandchildren and one step-grandson and his sister, Gladys of Atlanta, Ga.
