MRS. A. BENEDICT


The angel of death has again entered our community (Town of York, Clark County) and removed from its midst a most beloved friend and neighbor, Mrs. A. Benedict. Although she has not enjoyed good health for some years, her death was very sudden and unexpected, she being sick only about thirty minutes before death came to her relief. Her health disenabling her for taking a very active part in life, yet she was an earnest Christian worker and will be sadly missed.

 

Obsequies occurred at the M.E. Church Friday, Feb. 22, 1901, Rev. Hill officiating. Those who attended the funeral from away were, Fred Benedict and wife of Spokeville, and Delbert Benedict of La Crosse. The family has the sympathy of the entire community.
