This Law business was owned by Charles Adamson, a practicing attorney who had an office in the Greenwood, Wisconsin Bank.  Previous to November 8, 1901, he served the community as the Police Justice and was succeeded by P. J. Tscharner.  In 1905 he is listed as a property owner in Eaton Township, section #5.  In the 1906 Plat Book, he is listed as the owner of thirty-five acres in section 1.

August 1898--A very pleasant party of friends is camping on the Black River, two miles south of Greenwood.  The group consists of Messrs. Chas. Adamson, Ed Hirsch, Clare Hunt and Misses Emma Hendren, Carrie Shanks, Beatrice McMillan and Mrs. Hendren.  They call it “Camp Dew Drop Inn.” Clark County Press.

 

May 4, 1900--Business in Withee, WI

 

Barber, Dr. ---At the city council meeting Tuesday evening Dr. Barber was appointed city health officer in place of Dr. Churchill, who is moving away from us. G. W. Bishop was appointed justice of the peace in place of M. J. Trott, who failed to qualify. P. J. Tscharner was appointed police justice in place of C. A. Adamson. Greenwood Gleaner, Nov. 8, 1901.
