                To the person making the second largest number of entries and placing them on exhibition, of articles specified in the premium list $3.00.

 RULES GOVERNING RACES

  1.  Trotting will be governed by the Rules of the National Trotting Association.

  2. Entries can be made at the Secretary’s office any time before 2 o’clock P. M. of the second day of Fair.
  3. Entrance fee will be required at time of making entry.  This rule is imperative
  4. A horse distancing the field will be entitled to only one premium.
  5. All horses at the risk of the owners.
  6. No premiums will be awarded to ruled-out horses.
  7. Heats may or may not be trotted alternately, at the option of the Judges.

The track of the Clark County Agricultural Society Fair Grounds at Neillsville is conceded to be one of the best in the northwestern part of Wisconsin; the buildings good and in complete order.  An excellent exhibition in this and in all other departments is confidently assured.

                Amount of purses offered for races will be announced by posters.
