The class of 1934 of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) of Withee High School consists of 26 members. They are as follows: Verna Anderson, Inger Andreasen, Helene Beck, Mildred Billington, Ruthe Blunck, Elsie Cizik, Gladys Daily, Albert Fosnow, Elwin Haas, Ladd Haas, Russell Haire, Esther Hauschildt, Alfa Holmes, Erling Jensen, Peter Jensen, Romilda Jensen, Lorin Luce, Evelyn Madsen, Agnes Morgensen, Elve Pedersen, Anna Ristola, Gordon Thorson, Wayne Tormey, Kersten Stockholm, Niel Vater and Dagney Wing.
In our course of four years we lost seven members. The first years we lost Ethel Funk, Hans Christensen, Emma Gilsdorf. In the second year we lost Harold Koplitz and Florence Frederick and in our third year we lost Lydia Gregory. This last year we lost Audrey Rittenhouse.
Hans Christensen is living in Iowa and at the present is confined to his bed with paralysis.
Florence Frederick is now Mrs. Ed Zelm and is residing at Longwood.
Ethel Funk, Audrey Rittenhouse and Harold Koplitz are all staying at home.
The location of Lydia Gregory and Emma Gilsdorf is unknown.
Our valedictorian and salutatorian, to whom we owe great honor, are Esther Hauschildt and Helene Beck. |
