Curtiss had a taxi service in the form of the Livery and Dray service. Everything came in by rail in the early years, still in the 1920's. Groceries, dry goods, farm machinery, and automobiles all came to the depot side track. Thus the drayman and livery was needed. The supplies would be delivered to the various stores and places of business by horse and wagon. They would also take passengers to any of the towns around and as far away as Medford. Those who operated the livery and dray business were: John Richter, Wm. Steinbach, Henry Heinzel, Carl Bottrud, Radke and Jones, Ole and Harry Williams, Clarence Ravey and Albert Johnson.
