Our first meeting was held in the evening at the home of Mrs. L. Bremer, Mrs. Stange and Mrs. Bertz being assisting hostesses.
The meeting was opened by community singing. Roll call was taken and answered with current events.
Discussions arose as to whether or not current events should be given as roll call for every meeting or not. All were in favor so the motion was carried, and the paper “Current Events” was to be subscribed for.
Luncheon was served to a one hundred per cent attendance which is a very good club year beginning.

Just a note between the two meetings, September and October, that the Study Club sent delegates to the State convention at Eau Claire the first week in October. Mrs. Pengelly, Mrs. Voight, Mrs. Nelson, and Mrs. Bertz were the delegates. The convention was a big treat educationally and pleasurably.
Mrs. Paddock, the president of the Seventh District, came home with us, so the next afternoon at the home of Mrs. Rekow a special club meeting was held at meet Mrs. Paddock.
October 14, 1930
The Loyal Women’s Study Club met at the home of Mrs. Frank Schultz, Mrs. Rekow and Mrs. E. Vick being assisting hostesses.
Roll call was taken and answered with current events.
Mrs. Pengelly gave a very interesting account of the Eau Claire convention.
Mrs. Picus gave an interesting topic titled, “The Indians”.
Luncheon was served by the hostesses. A goodly attendance was given this meeting and the afternoon again was enjoyed by every one.
November 11, 1930
The Club furnished cars and all the club members rode out to Mrs. R. Pengelly’s this afternoon to enjoy the third Study-Club meeting of the year.
Roll call was taken –current events were given. The new programs were distributed.
“Are we to do welfare work in connection with study work this year?” This question was answered by the club, “Not as a main issue, but where he find needy and helpless families we shall try and help a bit.
A bake sale to raise money was decided upon by the Goodwill Committee.
County Industries – Mrs. R. Gruber County Manufacturing – Mrs. C. Rous
A beautiful vocal and piano duet was given by Mrs. Gruber and Mrs. Kriesser – “Dear Old Pal of Mine”, in honor of Armistice Day.
Luncheon was beautifully served, and while the club was partaking of the repast the radio gave beautiful selections appropriate for the day.
December, 1930
The club met at the home of Mrs. A. Krieser, which was delightfully decorated for Christmas. Mrs. Lakosky and Mrs. Voight was assisting hostesses.
The evening was spent in playing bridge, prizes were awarded to those holding high and low scores. Presents were given to each member after a lovely luncheon.
The first club social gathering as a Christmas party at Mrs. Krieser’s home was in every way a lovely gathering. This proves that out club members can forget to be serious and can enjoy each other’s company socially.
