--------- Banditt, Frank & Othelia

Frank Banditt was married to Miss Othelia Haberman in Germany, leaving the country for the United States, in three years, and coming to Abbotsford in 1882.

He purchased forty acres of land north of Abbotsford and south of the Daenicke farm, then built a home on Second Street. He lived in town and worked the fort acres of land, which he sold years later to Fred Haylett. One of their three children, Leo, born in 1884, lived here all his life.

He attended the Abbotsford school, took a correspondence course in bookkeeping, and worked as clerk for three years in the Myers & Chase store, then went to work for Wells & Chase at Dorchester.

He then rented the Young building on Main Street, put in a grocery store in 1913 and continued in this location for nineteen years, until he closed out his business in 1932.

Leo was married in 1913 to Miss Lena Hagen of Dorchester. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Banditt were members of the Lutheran Church. Frank Banditt died in 1921 and Mrs. Banditt died in 1932
